Enter your date of birth and the countdown works out the exact time remaining until your next birthday — counting down in days, hours, minutes and seconds, updating live rather than as a static figure. It automatically finds your next birthday, so if you’ve already had it this year, it counts to next year’s date instead.
Worked example
If today is 20 August 2026 and your birthday is 4 December, the countdown shows the days remaining until 4 December 2026. But if your birthday is 15 March, it’s already passed this year, so it counts to 15 March 2027 instead — the tool handles that switch automatically, you don’t need to re-enter anything once your birthday’s gone by.
